Travis Tritt Greenville Concert reviews
Danzig was amazing! Pale Horse killed it!
Get there early to meet some band members at the merch booths. I met Sal Abruscato and Johnny Kelly from a Pale Horse Named Death. They were quite gracious and signed my cd. The first band up was awesome, with not a bad song in the bunch. Really great metal. Texas Hippie Coalition was next, reminiscent of Pantera in terms of sound. Call it Southern fried metal. They were fantastic as well, "Pissed Off and Mad About it!!" The Butcher Babies came later, with two hot chicks running around on stage with some kickass music that looked good on paper. Unfortunately, loud did not equal good. It was all noise, screaming, and even the drums didn't come through. Their set was twice as long as Pale Horse and Texas Hippie. By the time they left, I was almost deaf in one ear. Those ladies had a lot of energy, but the music was just awful. Travis Tritt came on and it was outrageous! Doyle came out and tore it up! Definitely worth any amount of money spent to get there.
